Our former mayor is not about to accept the blame for Wichita’s lack of a Bass-Pro franchise. In an email to the Eagle, Mayans argues that the seeds of failure were planted and had taken root before he took office.

Shouldn’t the beginning of the email be dated 1 B.C. and does that mean we are now in the year 1 or 2 A.D. (after defeat?)
