What is your opinion about a high school principal, english teacher, cafeteria worker football coach emphasizing his feelings to his players with a barrage of F-bombs?

We had a high school coach who, to quote Ralphy’s description of his father in A Christmas Story, “worked in profanity the way other artists might work in oils or clay. It was his true medium; a master.” And we were just fine. He also grabbed us by the face mask and kicked us to the ground if we jumped offside.

Obviously, building character still demands unbridled passion.
