The Dead Can’t Dance, Rod’s feature length zombie flick, has finished principal photography and is now in the process of finishing touches. Here is a recap of the film’s life during 2009.
Now the good news: SXSW Film Conference and Film Festival is afflicted with dumbassitis. So the world premiere will likely be here.

Marketing tip: A poster with the zombie wearing the “Mullet Removal Crew” t-shirt and holding a severed mullet-wearing head with the tag line, “Zombies aren’t all bad” would make an awesome teaser.

Some of the extras have become unavailable and yet neither Douglas nor Main have been invited to fill a role. The over sized egos, marinated in bitterness, are evident throughout the D&M complex.

Rod’s first film, Dancing on the Moon, had a big premiere at the Orpheum in 2002, showed in more than 20 film festivals and took a fair share of awards home. Now it is available for purchase on DVD.
