Keeping up with the dead

The Dead Can’t Dance, Rod’s feature length zombie flick, has finished principal photography and is now in the process of finishing touches. Here is a recap of the film’s life during 2009.
Now the good news: SXSW Film Conference and Film Festival is afflicted with dumbassitis. So the world premiere will likely be here.

Wichita: Zombie capital of the world?

First one of the characters in the movie Zombieland is named Wichita. Now a locally made zombie flick draws closer to release. Is this simply a trailer for The Dead Can’t Dance or a glimpse of our future?

After an application of eye liner, powder and lip color, the dead walk again. The dead may not be able to dance but they do look mah-vah-lous!

Zombies alive this weekend

The dead will walk, but not dance, on Sunday after they rehearse on Saturday.
Marketing tip: A poster with the zombie wearing the “Mullet Removal Crew” t-shirt and holding a severed mullet-wearing head with the tag line, “Zombies aren’t all bad” would make an awesome teaser.

Shooting starts April 19th. You will believe that The Dead Can’t Dance.
Some of the extras have become unavailable and yet neither Douglas nor Main have been invited to fill a role. The over sized egos, marinated in bitterness, are evident throughout the D&M complex.
