I keep meaning to point you to the Varsity Kansas blog as a good example of blogging. Joanna carries on a conversation with her readers and her posts aim to get people talking. This post is just one example.

Douglas and Main make no secret of the fact we think Joanna Chadwick does the blogging thing well. She posts good content, tries to engage her readers in a conversation and encourages comments by asking questions of her readers. She also refuses to allow people to trash her place.
